Islington Giving

Islington Giving is a coalition of local people, businesses and organisations, working to reduce poverty and isolation, increase access to opportunities and support grassroots community projects.

Islington is a place of contrasts – with pockets of huge wealth side by side with entrenched deprivation. 38% of children here are growing up in poverty, 20,000 people are living with depression, and people in the poorest wards of the borough have the lowest life expectancy in London.

With our partners, Islington Giving works to mobilise positive change and shift power to local people, to make Islington a more equal place. Our vision of Islington is a strong, connected community where everyone has the opportunity to live a good life.
