Dr. Helena Ziert holds a diploma and PhD in Biology from Philipps University Marburg and Bielefeld University. She began her professional career as Team Leader and Project Manager in the field of food authenticity testing. During this time, she gained extensive experience in laboratory management under ISO 17025 and GLP/GCP standards, served as a GLP Study Director, and led LEAN transformation and change management initiatives. She was also responsible for the operation and compliance of an S2 laboratory.

In 2023, Dr. Ziert joined TÜV SÜD Product Service GmbH as a Scientific Project Coordinator, managing customer projects in the areas of biocompatibility, chemical characterization, transport, and packaging testing for medical devices and healthcare products. Since 2026, she has been working as an Account Manager for Medical & Health Services at TÜV SÜD, supporting clients with testing services related to biocompatibility and other regulatory and safety requirements for medical devices.
