Laurent Oliviero was born and grew up in France. He joined Ortho Clinical Diagnostics (Ortho) in 1993 in the European Blood Banking Product Development organization responsible for sourcing new products and analyzers for the European market.

After gaining experience in the area of Product Development and Product Support, he joined Ortho Quality Regulatory and Compliance department where he held various roles within the Complaint Handling Unit.

In his current role of Complaint Handling Specialist 4, he is an expert in Worldwide In Vitro Devices vigilance reporting activities for QuidelOrtho Transfusion Medicine products.

Laurent Oliviero is an active member of MedTech Europe Vigilance Working Group since 2017.

Laurent Oliviero has an Engineering degree in Biochemistry from the Technological University of Compiègne, a PhD in microbiology and a university degree in Blood Transfusion from the French National Institute of Blood Transfusion.
