Profile
Oliver Hartmann is the Regulatory and Legal Affairs Director at the Association of the European Self-Care Industry (AESGP). As such, Oliver is responsible for coordinating and implementing regulatory and legal activities and strategies on behalf of AESGP. His work addresses, among others, the implementation process of the Medical Devices Regulation vis-à-vis self-care medical devices, including substance-based medical devices. He represents AESGP in the Medical Device Coordination Group (MDCG) and its established subgroups towards the European Commission, national competent authorities and other stakeholders.
Prior to AESGP, Oliver worked for international, Brussels-based law firms advising clients on EU regulatory and compliance matters, particularly in relation to EU food and drug law as well as EU institutional law. Oliver holds a Master degree (LL.M.) in European law from the University of Maastricht (The Netherlands).
