Taylor Builee is a board-certified toxicologist and Senior Principal Toxicology Specialist within Regulatory Affairs & Quality, Product Stewardship at Solventum. She previously owned and operated a consulting practice providing regulatory toxicology, toxicological risk assessment, and biocompatibility evaluation services to medical device manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies. Taylor brings broad cross‑industry experience supporting global portfolios that span consumer products, large‑molecule drug–device combination products, and Class I, II, and III medical devices. She is a recognized U.S. expert to ISO/TC 194/WG11 on allowable limits for leachable substances and currently serves as Project Lead for the ISO/TS 21726 revision. An active contributor to the scientific community, Taylor has held elected leadership roles within the Society of Toxicology’s Medical Device and Combination Products Specialty Section and continues research focused on the Threshold of Toxicological Concern (TTC). She holds a Master of Science in Toxicology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
