James is a self-motivated business leader with a proven track record of delivering results, optimizing capability, and increasing profitability while reducing costs and inefficiencies.

James joined Byrne Group in early 2019 as the Sales and Key Account Manager, leveraging his significant expertise in business and quality management gained from a successful career that began in the British military forces. He quickly advanced within the company, becoming the Branch Manager of the Abu Dhabi operations in July 2020. In this role, he was instrumental in the company's success and growth in target markets such as Oil & Gas and Power Generation.

In late 2021, James was appointed Regional General Manager for the Group’s operations in KSA, Kuwait, and Bahrain. More recently, he has taken on the role of Regional Commercial Director, responsible for leading and coordinating commercial strategies and operations across multiple business units within the Byrne Group of companies. James works closely with C-level Executives at the Head Office, Regional GMs, and other members of the executive team to drive revenue growth, maximize market opportunities, and enhance overall commercial performance across the organization.

A qualified electrical and mechanical engineer, James has previously held senior leadership positions in the GCC region in both Operations Management and General Management roles. With over 15 years of increasing management and leadership responsibility, and as a practitioner of the lean six sigma concept, he helps Byrne Equipment Rental drive efficiencies by improving personnel and process efficiencies.

James is an expert in enterprise-level program management, operational excellence, quality management, and driving sales improvement activities. He leads and develops mutually beneficial long-term relationships between Byrne Equipment Rental and key clients by identifying solutions and developing processes that add value across the client base.

His extensive experience in fast-paced environments provides Byrne with specialist support for growth in areas such as Power & HVAC solutions. James is responsible for managing and planning operations and technical services on a wide variety of power generation projects.
