Over the past 35 years Lorne has been a leading figure in the UK/International events industry from founding Experiential Agency 'Involve' and Fathomxp to setting up Event Academy in 2011.

The Event Academy has trained over 5,000 students from Certificate to Degree and Postgraduate levels and is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Since 2021 we have worked with partners such as GEA, SEA and HRDF to deliver a range of training solutions for the industry in KSA.

Our approach is to combine the appropriate learning experiences to enable students to graduate into the Events and Entertainment industry. We take individuals from inexperienced Jobseeker to qualified and confident manager and leader.

Currently our graduates are working in the leading agencies, Ministries and large scale projects across The Kingdom.

Lorne has an MA in Literature and Film from Edinburgh University and he lectures on Creativity and Experience Design. He is a founding member of the World Experience Organisation and is a trustee for various organisations including global charity Care for Children.
