Technical supers are in great demand, as they have responsibility for ships, both in a technical as well as a general managerial sense. This distance learning course delivers the issues pertinent to the student to enable them to prove their knowledge and progress in their career.
Ideal for:
- Marine Technical Superintendents – already working in the industry, may hold a degree or diploma but wish to obtain a Masters level qualification as a route to chartered engineer status or for career progression. Many will not have any formal qualification or training between being at see as an officer and becoming a superintendent.
- Marine Engineers – working as a senior seagoing engineer, but wish to come ashore to a well paid professional role. Perhaps already hold a HND, degree or equivalent in Marine Engineering but wish to gain a specialist qualification to broaden their options into technical fleet management roles.
- Graduate Engineers – hold a degree but wish to specialise in technical management in order to obtain a position working as a technical superintendent.
