The fees below apply for the 2024 entry onto the MSc/PGDip/PGCert in Marine Technical Superintendent.
Students can enrol straight onto the MSc or will be able to build up to the full MSc in future years if they enrol for the PG Certificate or PG Diploma first.

Entry requirements
The requirements for entry to the award programme are as follows:
- An honours degree or equivalent in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related engineering discipline; or
- A level 5 qualification in a relevant subject area along with evidence of experiential learning in the maritime industry, such as a Chief Engineer certificate
Overseas qualifications
Applicants are required to have achieved an IELTs score a minimum of a 6.5 or equivalent English language qualifications.
Payment by instalments
If you choose to pay by instalments, your first invoice will be sent once you are accepted onto the programme, followed by the relevant number of instalments depending on which level you have applied for. It will be invoiced on the dates below and due straight away. Your invoice can be paid by credit card or bank transfer, with full details provided on the invoice. Group Bookings
Multiple booking discounts may be available when enrolling groups of participants at the same time for the same intake, and invoiced to a single contact.

The Marine Society is the leading and most experienced not for profit organisation supporting the wellbeing, personal and professional development of seafarers and shore-based maritime professionals. Scholarships as well as interest-free loans may be offered to UK seafarers (officers and ratings domiciled in the UK) to undertake this course.
