Analia Canoba is a senior radiological specialist in the Nuclear Regulatory Authority (ARN) of Argentina with more than 30 years of experience, having held various positions. She has a postgraduate degree in radiological protection and nuclear safety with expertise covering radon and NORM, radiochemical measurements and radiological environmental impact assessment.
She is member, since 2013, of ICRP committee 4 and since 2025, she is Vice-Chair of this Committee.
She is member of the IRPA Task Group on ‘Industries impacted by NORM’, since 2018.
Since 2024 she is leader of the Ibero American Nuclear and Radiological Regulators (FORO) about NORM characterization project.
She is Argentina’s representative for the IAEA’s Radiation Safety Standards Committee (RASSC) since 2021.
