Eng. Susan M.F.A. Kilani is a Senior Water Quality Management Specialist with more than 40 years of national and international experience in drinking water quality management, preventive risk-based approaches, and radiological water safety. She is a recognized expert in the implementation of the WHO Guidelines for Drinking-water Quality, Water Safety Plans, and the management of naturally occurring radionuclides in drinking water. Formerly Assistant Secretary General for Laboratories and Water Quality Affairs at the Jordanian Ministry of Water and Irrigation and Chief Technical Advisor at WHO/CEHA, she currently serves as Program Advisor to the USAID Water Governance Activity (WGA) and consultant to UNICEF and other international organizations. She recently led the national coordination of the IAEA Expert Mission on natural radioactivity management in drinking water.
