Gary Forsee is currently the chief of the Illinois Radioactive Materials Program and has chaired CRCPD’s SSR Part N since 2012. He has been involved in the regulation and field response to NORM industries beginning in 2004, primarily concerning NORM from the drinking water and oil/gas industries. He has contributed to a number of NORM projects/papers with the NCRP, IAEA, CRCPD, ASTSWMO, ISRI and others. Current efforts include finalizing a draft regulatory approach for NORM to be delivered to both the CRCPD and the IAEA.
