Holds a Bachelor's degree in Agronomic Engineering from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (1990), with a specialization in Geoprocessing from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2002), an MBA in Environmental Management from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (2004), and a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Fluminense . Currently, he is enrolled as a doctoral student in the Doctoral Program in Energy Planning at COPPE/UFRJ since 2022. Work as a Master Environmental Engineer at Petróleo Brasileiro S/A, working as Logistc Waste and NORM Manager. Previously, he held the position of Environmental Sector Manager in the Exploration and Production Logistics Services Unit from 2010 to 2016
