He has more than 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical research and development, with expertise spanning neuroscience, metabolic diseases, and regenerative medicine. A pioneer in Alzheimer's disease research, Dr. Tran was among the first to identify the therapeutic role of neurogenesis in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. He also proposed the Unified Theory of Neurodegenerative, Metabolic and Cardiovascular Diseases, a comprehensive framework describing the interconnected mechanisms underlying these major chronic disorders.
