Anastasia Mourogova Millin is the founder of Ombrello Solutions and DanSa Capital Innovation, which work hand-in-hand to research, structure and commercialize proprietary systemic investment products that enable private family offices and pension funds to allocate capital, at scale and with market returns, towards key societal and environmental challenges.

Her work draws on 23 years in finance and capital structuring, beginning in commercial and real estate banking at HSBC and TD Bank, where she led a senior Quebec real estate portfolio through the 2008 financial crisis. She subsequently transitioned into impact finance, launching Canada’s first impact federal Schedule A Bank, Vancity Community Investment Bank, and directing lending and impact market development at the commercial bank. In that role she oversaw $1.3 billion in real estate loans as well as $250 million in loans to BCorps, not-for-profits and social enterprises. She equally led the launch and implementation of the Solutions Finance Accelerator at the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation - Canada’s first initiative aimed at seeding and scaling impact funds across all sectors and asset classes.

Anastasia later joined Dark Matter Labs as a Global Head of Capital and Innovation - a U.K. based civic innovation lab that works at the intersection of public finance, emerging asset classes and civic resilience. Anastasia led the systemic innovation discovery that resulted in financial mechanisms for nature based solutions, regenerative agriculture, city-wide retrofits, housing and soil health amongst others.
