Andrei Gropper is a seasoned real estate finance leader at Cameron Stephens Mortgage Capital, based in Toronto, where he serves as VP of Origination. In this role, he leads efforts to grow the firm’s debt book, onboard new clients, and expand its commercial real estate portfolio. Prior to joining Cameron Stephens, Andrei built a distinguished seven-year career at the Bank of Montreal (BMO). Within BMO’s newly established Business Properties Finance group for Eastern Canada, he served as Managing Director. In that capacity, he originated and underwrote over $1 billion in new real estate business and drove a 200% increase in the Southwestern Ontario real estate portfolio in just three years. Andrei holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Western University, specialized in finance, and an MBA from the Rotman School of Management, where he focused on finance, strategy, and marketing.
