Art Maw serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Hanscomb, with his primary office located in Ottawa. His extensive career encompasses a wide range of projects and services across different offices and locations within Canada and internationally. Over the last 43 years, Art has acquired a profound technical knowledge of the Canadian construction industry, covering various construction materials, techniques, service delivery, procurement models, and construction economics.

In addition to his Canadian expertise, Art took charge of Hanscomb's four Middle East offices for nearly a decade, starting in 2000. This international role allowed him to gain firsthand insights into global industry trends. Art's professional background includes preparing cost plans, conducting cost checks, and providing pre-tender estimates. In post-contract settings, he has been instrumental in analysing and contributing to the resolution of claims, negotiations with subcontractors and general contractors. Notably, he has made significant contributions to the joint Federal Government/Industry Cost Predictability Task Force.
