Geoffrey Frigon

Mr. Frigon joined the University of Ottawa as the Senior Director of Asset Management, Planning and Real Estate in 2019. He oversaw a portfolio that includes real estate development, land-use and campus planning, engineering, architecture, sustainability, energy and asset management. In 2022, Geoff was appointed Associate Vice President of Facilities, adding additional business lines to his responsibilities including construction operations and facilities management of all University infrastructure. Mr. Frigon is responsible for the strategic direction and the physical legacy of the Universities infrastructure, including the investment, design, development, construction and operations of over 7 billion worth of assets (140 buildings) and lands, serving over 50,000 students and 5,500 professor and administrative staff. Prior to joining uOttawa, Mr. Frigon held various executive positions at both Health Canada and the National Capital Commission from 2010-2019. Geoff responsibilities included real estate development, construction and laboratory planning. Geoff Frigon holds an undergraduate and master’s degree in political science and economics from the University of Windsor.
