Jennifer Cross is the Director of Regional Development at Chandos Construction, with over 25 years of experience connecting people and projects that shape stronger, more vibrant communities. As a purpose-driven constructor, she focuses on projects that create lasting value for communities—shaping spaces that bring people together, strengthen social fabric, and leave a meaningful, enduring impact on the places we live and work. With a background in political science from Carleton University and interior design from Sheridan College, Jennifer blends policy insight with design thinking to envision what’s possible, not just what is. Her leadership has been recognized with Ottawa’s 40 Under 40 and Ottawa Business Journal’s Top 10 Fastest Growing Companies. She is the President of the Canadian Club of Ottawa Board, sits on the Ottawa Business Journal Advisory Board and the Ottawa Board of Trade’s Economic Development Committee, and co-founded City BuildHERS, an event platform spotlighting women-led development projects to inspire greater female leadership in shaping our cities.
