Jessy Desjardins is the Vice President of Development and Conception at Brigil, a real estate company founded in 1985 and based in Gatineau, active in residential and commercial development in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. A finance graduate from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa (2019), he represents a new generation of developers with a "citizen builder" vision. Passionate about urban planning and architecture, he focuses on creating complete neighborhoods with a low carbon footprint, emphasizing mixed-use development, local services, and sustainable transportation. As a member of the Gatineau Environment Commission, his vision is inspired by international best practices, having participated in an immersion trip to Copenhagen in 2025 to rethink Brigil's Canevas project according to innovative urban standards.
