Mathew Baranowski has over 15 years of industry experience in all aspects of construction – estimating, scheduling, cost control, contracts administration, and on-site management. He has experience in interior renovations, new commercial buildings, and civil infrastructure, all under various contract models including traditional bid, design-build, construction management, and P3. Having worked in four cities (Winnipeg, Edmonton, Vancouver, Ottawa) with the largest general contractor in Canada, Mathew has gained a diverse perspective of the construction industry. Currently, Mathew is the District Manager for PCL Ottawa. Along with the Senior VP/District Manager Paul Knowles, they lead the Ottawa operations, overseeing strategic growth, project delivery, and client relationships across the region. Mathew has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Manitoba.
