Tanya Buckley

In her role as Senior-Vice President of Cardel, Tanya calls on a wide range of skills, including business development, marketing, leadership, finance, negotiation, team-building and strategic planning. She also has a long-held passion for entrepreneurship that began while working in a family business early in her career and continues today.

She holds an Executive MBA from the University of Ottawa and is a proud alumnus of Algonquin College

Since graduating from Algonquin, Tanya has returned to the college many times to offer her perspectives, experience, and expertise. She recently joined the Board of Governors of the college and is an Algonquin Centre for Construction Excellence (ACCE) Advisory Committee member.

Community and industry building are a priority. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Ottawa Home Builders Association (GOHBA), where she is Vice-President and Chair of the Trades Development Initiative (TDI). TDI is a project by the 350 GOHBA members to promote the benefits of working in skilled trades and trade career opportunities in residential construction in the Ottawa Region.
