Since 2022, Sabine heads globally Circular Economy & packaging within the Henkel’s CSO Office. Previously she served 3- years as a full-time advisor to the Alliance to End Plastic Waste and 20 years in the Coca-Cola system in various circularity and packaging responsibilities. Prior to that, Sabine worked in governmental and non-governmental agencies in Austria on Circular economy issues.

She supported the implementation of various packaging collection and recycling pilots, communication and awareness programs, as well as packaging recovery systems and worked extensively to define minimum requirements for Extended Producer Responsibility. Sabine engaged in advocacy of waste and packaging waste regulatory frameworks internationally.
