Leadership Awards

For individuals and teams, our awards are a prized acknowledgement of the demonstrated skills, leadership, vision, inspiration and dedication to the industry’s betterment.

A successful nomination will be to the point and with supporting evidence, not buzzwords. We do not want to see press releases, advertorials, or sales & marketing brochures.

Our awards are underpinned by over four decades of FinTech Futures’ unbiased expertise and unrivalled reputation.

Individuals

For the individual awards, please provide a comprehensive account of the nominated person and their work, including:

  1. Their accomplishments beyond their standard day-to-day job duties
    Their own contribution towards the success their company/business/project/etc
  2. The results of their work and the supporting evidence
  3. Their contribution to the industry’s betterment, for example, mentorship projects, contribution to charitable causes, diversity & inclusion initiatives, and so on.

Team Awards

For the team awards, please provide a comprehensive account of the nominated team and its work, including:

  1. The composition of the team, responsibilities, etc.
  2. How the team operates and collaborates
  3. The team’s direct contribution towards the success of their company/business/project/etc.
  4. The issues they solve and how they do it
  5. The results of their work and the supporting evidence
  6. Any extracurricular activities, such as charity work, pro-bono projects etc.

Individual awards

PayTech Leadership

Awarded to a C-suite executive of any gender for playing an instrumental role in the technology strategy and execution at a payments business in a bank/financial institution and going above and beyond their standard role duties.

We are looking for an individual who is truly making an impact in the payments services industry and contributing towards the industry's betterment.

The judges are looking for a comprehensive narrative of the individual’s endeavours and accomplishments that go beyond their standard day-to-day job duties.

We want to see the personal contribution of the nominated individual towards the success of their company/business/project/etc, i.e. what THEY are doing, not just the overall company achievements.

The judges are also looking for information about this individual’s strive towards the industry’s betterment, for example, mentorship projects, contribution to charitable causes, diversity & inclusion initiatives, and so on.

Woman in PayTech

This award will laud an outstanding woman for her distinguished leadership and inspiring work in the payments industry, and, equally importantly, making a positive impact on the wider payments industry.

The judges are looking for a comprehensive narrative of the individual’s endeavours and accomplishments that go beyond their standard day-to-day job duties.

We want to see the personal contribution of the nominated individual towards the success of their company/business/project/etc, i.e. what THEY are doing, not just the overall company achievements.

The judges are also looking for information about this individual’s strive towards the industry’s betterment, for example, mentorship projects, contribution to charitable causes, diversity & inclusion initiatives, and so on.

Rising PayTech Star

The Rising PayTech Star Award celebrates driven, inspirational, and dynamic professionals of any gender working in a payments sector and looking to make their mark on the industry.

The judges are looking for determined, up-and-coming role models with ambition to make an impact, hunger for knowledge, enthusiasm to develop their skills further and successfully rise to the challenges.

The judges are looking for a comprehensive narrative of the individual’s endeavours and accomplishments that go beyond their standard day-to-day job duties.

We want to see the personal contribution of the nominated individual towards the success of their company/business/project/etc, i.e. what THEY are doing, not just the overall company achievements.

The judges are also looking for information about this individual’s strive towards the industry’s betterment, for example, mentorship projects, contribution to charitable causes, diversity & inclusion initiatives, and so on.

PayTech Founder

This award will laud an outstanding individual of any gender for their distinguished leadership and inspiring work as a founder of a payments/paytech-focused company.

The judges are looking for a comprehensive narrative of the individual’s endeavours and accomplishments in founding their company, overcoming the challenges, and building up its business.

We want to see the personal contribution of the nominated individual towards the success of their company, i.e. what THEY are doing, not just the overall company achievements.

The judges are also looking for information about this individual’s strive towards the industry’s betterment, for example, mentorship projects, contribution to charitable causes, diversity & inclusion initiatives, and so on.

Team awards

PayTech Team of the Year

This award will laud a team working in an organisation in the payments sector that has stood out for its teamwork, efficiency, collaborative spirit and going above and beyond in achieving the goals and delivering value to the project/organisation.

We are looking for a team that can demonstrate what it means to work together for a common goal and produce outstanding results.

The judges are looking for a comprehensive narrative of the team’s endeavours and accomplishments.

We want to see a comprehensive account of the team and its contribution towards the success of their company/business/project/etc, i.e. who they are and what they are doing as a TEAM, not just the overall company achievements.

The judges want to understand how the team operates and collaborates, its work and responsibilities, the issues they solve and how they are doing it, overcoming the challenges, and the outcomes that demonstrate concrete results.
