Alastair Brown is a Partner at the Projective Group.

Previously, Alastair was Executive Chairman of independent data consultancy DTSQUARED, which became part of the Projective Group in 2021, and the CEO of AIM listed financial services software house, Lombard Risk. He held a range of senior technology roles at RBS including CIO of International Banking, leading the digital transformation of the Transaction Services business, and Head of Operations Technology for the investment bank.

Alastair's roles have always straddled business and technology and he has dedicated his career to extracting the commercial benefits that disruptive technology innovation offers our industry. He has over thirty years of experience in financial services, giving him tremendous insight into all aspects of transformational change, software engineering, vendor platform selection, near- and off-shore delivery as well the application of technology across multiple business lines in Europe, North America and Asia.

Alastair also holds NED positions at SaaScada, the NextGen data driven core banking engine, and Icon Solutions.
