Durvesh Maharaj is a highly accomplished, multi award winning business transformation senior manager with a track record of creating highly profitable product and distribution ecosystems across South Africa and rest of Africa over the last decade and a half

Durvesh possesses an MSc Strategy from Edinburgh Business School, PG Dip Digital as well as an undergraduate degree in Economics. He also has a variety of specialized qualifications including a lean six sigma master black belt, Internationally Certified app developer, Product owner and Project Manager.

Durvesh has had the fortune of serving across fintech, telecoms, Insurtech, Healthcare and banking over the past decade and a half. At the age of 24 Durvesh was appointed as the Digital Strategist for Barclay's Bank where he successfully implemented Digital banking across web and app for over 6 African countries and since then has won numerous awards for Innovation within Insurance and fintech. Durvesh has also participated in numerous technology competitions with a track record of podium finisher and was a pioneering senior manager within a tech start-up that grew overall revenue exponentially year on year.
