As SVP of Credit and Product Innovation Executive at Valid Systems, he drives breakthrough innovations that enhance customer experience and mitigate risk. Previously at Capital One, he led a transformative team that modernized legacy systems into a cloud-based decision-making and underwriting platform—unlocking billions in business through personalized offerings. Gaurav is passionate about solving critical customer challenges and advancing AI-driven solutions across fintech, banking, and payments.

A recognized thought leader, he co-authored a book on Practical Sustainability (Palgrave MacMillan), holds a pending patent on machine learning-based model performance optimization, and has spoken at Product School events. An alumnus of IIT Bombay and a Master’s in Finance from Chicago. Gaurav is based in NY, where he enjoys music, tennis, and hiking with his family.
