Stefan Burkwood is the Global Head of Banking & Expansion at Vitesse. He is responsible for delivering and maintaining the network of banks and payment partners that Vitesse utilise to disburse payments globally, having built this from scratch. Ensuring that Vitesse are meeting the domestic and cross border needs of its customers is a key aspect of his role, and progressively expanding with alternative payment solutions offering local payment options to its customers.

Stefan manages partnerships with tier 1 global & domestic banks, PSP’s, FinTechs & market infrastructures, regulators, along with technology companies in order to build collaborative environment relationships to provide value added services to Vitesse’s customers in accordance with the emerging business trends, technologies and strategic direction for existing and future payments products.

Having more than 30 years of financial services experience covering operations, correspondent banking, securities and network management, Stefan has held roles at Deutsche Bank, NatWest, BBH, Citadel Commerce & WorldPay
