Powering up your BIO-Europe Spring® Partnering

Ready… steady… Go! It’s almost time for another BIO-Europe Spring®, delivered digitally. This is Europe’s premier springtime partnering conference for the biotechnology industry. We have all had a lot of experience doing events digitally now, and we wanted to share some tips on how to power up your BIO-Europe Spring digital partnering experience.

If this is your first digital BIO-Europe then check some of our other blogs for tips on staying human in a digital world, making the most of social media to support your partnering, and the art of perfect partnering video calls.

Then, if you’re feeling tired, have you tried spinning your tyres with other attendees on one of the daily BiotechBikers Networking Rides? This is a fun way to build some exercise into your BIO-Europe Spring routine and enjoy some serendipitous networking as you spin your wheels before racing off to do some deals.

The days can be long if you’re doing back-to-back partnering calls and trying to fit in listening to live panels throughout the event, providing a wealth of content on oncology, neurology, cardiology, and more. Give your mind and body a break and close the laptop for a moment, reflect on what the day has given you so far, and what it might yet bring. Do some stretches, rehydrate, and take a moment to breathe. In fact, taking a breather is so important we have kept out popular sessions to help you do precisely that. See here.

Keen for more spontaneity? Then check out our new end of day networking feature: Mix ‘n’ Mingler. Attendees can sign up to join one of three casual networking sessions. Each participant will receive a party box and thematic breakout rooms will provide a chance to connect with other attendees. Speaking of M&M, did you know that eating seven M&Ms a day is the secret to success in communications? See here.

If you are still craving connections, then our live networking sessions each day on a variety of topics including immunology, oncology and more, could be perfect. Whilst you may have a specific therapeutic area focus, it can be uplifting to mix it up a little and join a session on something different. And who knows where tomorrow may take us? It’s always a smart career move to build bridges whenever you can, and BIO-Europe Spring provides an unbeatable platform for building your future success.

And if you live in Cambridge or Copenhagen, two global powerhouses for life sciences, then you can build bridges in person at networking events provided by our partners One Nucleus and Copenhagen City. See here. Both cities are also great for bicycles, so a perfect BIO-Europe Spring day could start with a BiotechBikers Networking Ride, and finish with a bike ride over to your local networking event.

If you embrace the above, you’ll have a much better digital partnering experience. And whilst you’re here, make 2022 the year when you embrace business travel again. Add Germany’s Leipzig to your calendar, as that’s where we plan to hold BIO-Europe®, in person again, on 24 to 26 October. See here, and see you there!
