Dave Mathewson joined Blue Owl in August 2024 as a Vice President on Global Product Strategy and Solution Team. Located within their Private Wealth Group, he focuses on Insurance Dedicated Solutions and serves as a product specialist for their in-market Insurance Dedicated Funds alongside other tax efficient solutions.

Before joining Blue Owl, Dave was a Senior Business Development Associate at Axcelus Financial, a leading-US & Bermuda Insurance Carrier specifically catering to Private Placement solutions. In this role, he worked closely across the (3) primary distribution channels of independent agents, financial intermediaries, and institutional investment managers. Prior to that, he began his financial services career across roles with JPMorgan Chase and Vanguard.

Dave received his BS in Sport & Recreation Management from Temple University.
