Chris is Group Treasurer at Pennon Group plc, with over 20 years’ experience in the sector. He leads the central Treasury team, responsible for securing and managing the funding required to support Pennon’s strategic objectives and significant investment programme.Chris has played a key role in diversifying Pennon’s c.£5.0 billion debt portfolio, including leading the Group’s entry into the syndicated private placement market in 2023, and becoming a regular issuer in the market thereafter. A champion of sustainable finance, Chris was instrumental in establishing Pennon’s first Sustainable Financing Framework in 2018. Under his leadership, the Group has secured around £3 billion of sustainable financing, positioning Pennon as a leader in the sustainable finance market.
