Garret Tynan is the Managing Director and European Head of Infrastructure and Project Finance at KBRA Europe Limited (KBRA).
Garret previously spent five years with KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH in London, where he was responsible for originating and executing project and leveraged finance transactions in the UK, Europe, and North America.
Prior to KfW IPEX, Garret worked for nine years at Depfa Bank plc in Dublin, where he initially focused on public-private partnerships/PFI, utilities, and leveraged finance in the UK and, in later years, managed a team responsible for restructuring and winding down the bank’s global infrastructure portfolio.
Garret is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency department in Dublin.
Garret earned both a B.A. in accounting and finance, and an MBS in accounting from Dublin City University. He also holds graduate diplomas in International Financial Reporting Standards (ICAI) and Management and Applications of IT in Accounting (DCU), as well as certificates in Directors Duties & Responsibilities (ICAI) and Complex Financial Instruments (Institute of Bankers).
