Geoffroy has nearly 20 years of experience across investment management, fund structuring, and corporate governance. A lawyer by training, he built his career at Luxembourg's leading institutions, starting at Arendt & Medernach before serving nine years as General Counsel of a leading pan-European asset management group, overseeing all legal, regulatory, and corporate affairs. He subsequently held over 400 director mandates worldwide as an independent director and consultant to regulated and unregulated investment structures.

Before joining ALIGN, Geoffroy’s investment focus was primarily on real estate. While creating ALIGN’s Luxembourg fund structure, he quickly recognised how similar the underlying principles were: disciplined structuring, strong collateralisation, and rigorous downside protection. The key difference, as he puts it, is that Film and TV finance comes with a little more excitement and glamour.

As CEO, Geoffroy oversees the firm’s operations and serves on the boards of the General Partner and Advisory Committees. His extensive legal, governance and structuring expertise brings institutional rigour to ALIGN’s fund operations and supports an investment approach centred on disciplined underwriting, robust collateralisation and downside protection.
