Kristine Larson is a Senior Director on the Portfolio Management team at Barings, supporting Private Placement Debt and Global Infrastructure. She is responsible for portfolio and client management, including active involvement in the firm’s third-party private debt activity and secondary trading.
Kristine has nearly 30 years of investment experience, with the past 17 focused on private debt. Before joining Barings in 2023, she served as a Director at Allianz Global Investors and Genworth Financial, where she analyzed private placement and infrastructure debt and supported capital market securitizations. She also managed fixed income portfolios at TIAA-CREF and held earlier roles at KPMG Consulting and in derivatives marketing at Bank of America.
Kristine leads the Corporate Sustainability Standards Committee for the Private Placements Investors Association (PPiA). She holds an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, a BS in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University, and is a CPA (previously licensed in California) and CFA Charterholder.
