Matt joined SMBC in 2022 and heads the Debt Private Placement team, covering all geographies and sectors. Prior to SMBC, Matt spent four years on the US Private Placement team of Scotiabank in New York, working across several industries and geographies including corporate, utility and infrastructure clients throughout North and South America, the UK and Australia.

Prior to Scotiabank, Matt spent over 10 years at BNP Paribas in both public and private capital markets roles, with a focus on US Private Placements in the energy, utility and project finance space.

Matt received a B.A. in Finance from the Boston College Carroll School of Management.
