Reza Taylor is a Partner at Linklaters with nearly 25 years' experience across the firm's London, Paris and Tokyo offices. He is a core member of Linklaters' Sports Sector team, specialising in complex sports finance, investment and stadium development transactions. His practice spans loans, bonds and private placement notes. Reza recently advised on the restructuring of €320 million of USPP stadium financing as part of Michèle Kang's acquisition of Olympique Lyonnais, alongside the simultaneous restructuring of the club's bank facilities, in one of the most complex sports refinancings in European football in recent years. He also advised Norfolk FB Holdings on its acquisition of a majority ownership interest in Norwich City Football Club.

As well as stadia and acquisition financing, Reza advises sports clients on the financing of media rights and receivables, including advising IBB on a first-of-its-kind pre-approved player transfer transaction platform, the acquisition of football transfer fee receivables, and related regulatory matters.

This breadth of experience — spanning finance, infrastructure and club investment — enables Reza to advise clients on the full lifecycle of sports transactions, from initial structuring through to completion and beyond.
