Stuart globally heads up Portfolio (Fund) Management for L&G Asset Management’s Private Credit business. He is responsible for overall management of the PM function, for both insurance and pension clients, with AUM > £32 billion (equiv). Stuart guides portfolio construction and performance and provides independent investment judgement on the underwriting of all new financings across Corporate, Infrastructure, Real Estate and Alternative debt asset classes. He leads setting overarching investment theses for mandates and helps to establish new funds/strategies. Prior to L&G, Stuart was Managing Director and Head of International for NYL Private Capital Investors.Stuart has been a financial markets practitioner for 26 years. He has a PhD and BA from the University of Southampton, MSt from the University of Oxford, Executive MBA (Distinction, Directors’ Award) from the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School and FCT from the Association of Corporate of Treasurers.
