Michael Fernandez is the Head of GPU Business Development for Financial Applications at AMD. Prior to joining AMD, Michael specialized in high-frequency trading and algorithm development at Goldman Sachs within their Systematic Market Making group.

His previous roles include positions at Barclays (high-frequency trading), Mercury Systems (FPGA development), and IBM (ASIC development). Michael holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Temple University.

Residing in New York, Michael enjoys skiing, scuba diving, and spending time with his two dogs in his leisure time.
