Valeria Varlashove holds an Undergraduate degree in Mathematical Economics from Temple University in the United States, with one year exchange at the University of Oxford, where she studied Mathematics and Economics. During her studies, Valeria gained experience within various areas of finance, such as private equity, sales & trading, and data analytics, through internships with prominent organizations in New York City. Valeria recently completed a Master’s degree in Mathematics & Finance at Imperial College London, where she wrote her thesis under the supervision of Dr. Paul Bilokon. She is currently working on the Commodities Trading team at ING Bank.
Beyond her technical skills, Valeria is a talented violinist. Originally from Russia, she moved to the United States at age 10 to study at the Manhattan School of Music, eventually performing at Carnegie Hall. She has led orchestras at the University of Oxford, and is currently the Vice Chair of the University of London Symphony Orchestra.
