Trained at the Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec, Jean-Yves is co-president of Germain Hotels.
Gifted with a keen business sense, he is in charge of development, orchestrates financing and supervises the construction of all the hotels.
Jean-Yves began his career in the restaurant industry. It was here where he first tried his hand at raising capital. Since then, he has mastered the structuring of investment funds and financial strategies for the company’s hotel developments. Germain Hotels, whose finances he runs with an iron fist, is ranked among the 50 Best Managed Companies in Canada thanks to its economic and financial health.
Alongside his career as an hotelier, Jean-Yves is president of Casot ltée.
He also sits on a number of boards of directors and is dedicated to several charities in the community.
