Stéphane CôtéPresident, Major Projects Division at Cogir Real Estate
Profile
A committed visionary, Stéphane Côté, the entrepreneur, graduated from Université du Québec à Montréal in 1992 with a Bachelor of Economics degree with a minor in marketing. He quickly carried out several building renovation and conversion projects. The conversion of a former Hudson’s Bay warehouse in Old Montreal into lofts thus became the foundation of his real estate career in Montréal.
He incorporated DevMcGill in 1998 and undertook many projects located in the heart of the city’s most lively districts. He has taken part in the city’s constant growth and in the betterment of many of its residential areas. The urge to build tomorrow’s living environments remains powerful. DevMcGill (a division of Cogir Real Estate since 2017) continues to transform the way we live and to enhance the built-up heritage. The focus on offering a top-quality architectural product remains at the forefront of the projects being envisioned. Nevertheless, issues pertaining to sustainable development, to innovation and to the community’s well-being are increasingly favoured.
He is a member in good standing of the Young President Organization (YPO) and of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and is also a Board member of the Institut de développement urbain (IDU).
