Jody Thompson is a seasoned healthcare execu0ve with more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning rare disease, pa0ent access, site-of-care strategy, market access and commercial opera0ons. She is currently Senior Vice President of Business Development, Rare Disease at Soleo Health, where she leads the strategic vision, partnerships and market expansion of SoleoRare™.

Jody is widely recognized as a visionary and authen0c leader who builds high-performing teams and drives measurable business outcomes. Throughout her career, she has led large na0onal organiza0ons of up to 300 professionals across pa0ent services, hub opera0ons, site-of-care networks, reimbursement strategy, pa0ent engagement and marke0ng, and market access. Her exper0se lies in designing and execu0ng comprehensive pa0ent access strategies that increase speed to therapy, improve adherence, and op0mize the pa0ent and provider experience.

Prior to Soleo Health, Jody served as Vice President of Pa0ent Access, Rare Disease at Amgen/Horizon Therapeu0cs, where she built and executed the na0onal access strategy across six rare disease brands. She also played a key leadership role in acquisi0on integra0ons, including Horizon’s acquisi0on by Amgen and Alexion’s acquisi0on of Portola.

She holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, a BA from Eastern Michigan University, and a PMP cer0fica0on in Strategic Organiza0onal Design and Change Management from the Levinson Ins0tute at Harvard University.

Known for her direct yet approachable leadership style, Jody is a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders alike, commiWed to advancing innova0ve, pa0ent-centered solu0ons in rare disease and specialty care.
