Kate Gwinn joined Amgen (previously Horizon Therapeutics) in July of 2021 working both in advocacy and the #RAREis program. Through her deep passion for helping others, combined with the power of storytelling, Kate has dedicated her career to ensuring patients, caregivers and advocates have a platform to share their journeys, triumphs and challenges while fostering empathy, breaking stigmas and educating others in the process. By gleaning insights from their experiences, she gains a deeper understanding of the obstacles they encounter, which fuels her inspiration to develop new initiatives and resources that address their unmet needs.
