Melanie Wolf is a seasoned leader with more than two decades of experience advancing patient access, operational excellence, and talent development. Focused on removing barriers to care, she is known for building high-performing teams, optimizing complex processes, and aligning strategy with patient-centered outcomes, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that patients with complex treatment needs can get timely access to the care they need. As Director, Patient & Hub Operations, Rare Disease at Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. (SMPA), she leads patient services strategy and execution to deliver efficient, compliant, patient-focused access solutions for individuals living with rare diseases.

Previously, Melanie held leadership roles at Sarepta Therapeutics and ViiV Healthcare, supporting innovative access pathways, provider engagement, and streamlined therapy initiation. She also spent over 16 years at Biogen leading reimbursement, financial assistance, policy improvement, leadership development, and employee advocacy initiatives.
