•Arya Sekhar is the EMEA Chief Risk Officer for Morgan Stanley and a member of the EMEA Operating Committees, Co-Chair of EMEA Risk Committee and an MSI Board member.

•Mr. Sekhar joined the Firm in April 2008 in the Market Risk Department and has served in key roles across the Firm’s Risk Management division including Global Head of Market Risk Analytics, and in 2015 assumed the position of the Global Head of Liquidity Risk Department.

•Mr. Sekhar began his career in Mortgage Research in 2003 and has previously worked at Countrywide, MSIM and RBS.

•Mr. Sekhar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi University, MBA in Finance from S.P Jain Institute, Ph.D. in Finance from Oklahoma State University. Mr. Sekhar is also a CFA® Charter holder.

•Mr. Sekhar was an Adjunct Faculty at Cornell University from 2012-2015. He has also taught courses or given lectures at other universities including, NYU, Baruch College and Rutgers.

•Mr. Sekhar has published various papers in journals including, Journal of Fixed Income and Journal of Portfolio Management. Mr. Sekhar has also published a book on bond pricing and hedging models.
