Laura Padovani is Chief Compliance Officer of Deutsche Bank Group. She oversees the global Compliance organization and the framework for Compliance risk management and oversight across Deutsche Bank Group entities. Prior joining Deutsche Bank in April 2023, Laura served as Group Chief Compliance Officer at Barclays Plc.

Laura started her career at American Express, where she held various senior Compliance roles in Argentina, New York and London. She is a qualified solicitor and holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Buenos Aires as well as an LLM in Banking Law and Financial Services Regulation from London School of Economics and Political Sciences.

Laura is based in London.
