Pietro is Head of Market and Financial Risk Management at IntesaSanpaolo S.p.A, with over 25 years of professional experience in the banking sector. The expertise covers all relevant aspects of design and maintenance of an integrated market risk management framework and internal controls, including risk measurement, limit monitoring and reporting, planning and implementation of market risk policies and procedures, independent valuation and price validation.
He manages a multidisciplinary group of specialists across 3 continents, focusing on financial and market risk modelling. Throughout his career, due to a strong knowledge and understanding of Capital Market activities, analytic and problem-solving skills, Pietro consolidated a leadership role in several transformation projects in Investment Banking such as new product development, business transformation and subsidiaries mergers.
