Head of group liquidity and market risk management at Erste Group

Roland re-joined Erste Group in 2015 and was appointed to Head of Group Liquidity and Market Risk Management in 2017. Additionally, he has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Erste Bank Croatia since 2020. In his current role Roland is responsible for the governance, strategic and operative steering, measurement and management of liquidity and market risk across Erste Group. Furthermore, he is responsible for model risk management of all market and liquidity risk related methods and models.

After starting his career in 1999 in ALM of Erste Bank Roland held different management positions in treasury and risk at Raiffeisen Bank International concentrating on ALM, balance sheet management, liquidity and market risk and managed successfully respective infrastructure projects.
