Carter Palmer, PhD is Co-founder and CEO of Third Element Bio, a company committed to selectively controlling neuroinflammation. Third Element Bio is based in San Diego, California. Prior to starting Third Element Bio, Carter completed PhD and postdoctoral training elucidating disease pathologies of the human brain via the use and development of single-nucleus RNA-sequencing techniques. These techniques led to his discoveries of novel dysregulated pathways in neurodegenerative disorders and drove a need to develop therapeutics to modify these pathways leading to the founding of THird Element Bio.
