Dr. Retallack currently serves as President and COO of Primrose Bio, overseeing Strain Engineering, Process Development, Technical and Quality Operations. She has over 25 years of experience in molecular biology, microbial genetics, strain engineering and process development, including extensive experience in the production of vaccine antigens, antibody derivatives, enzymes, toxins and fusion proteins. As a founding member of the team that launched Pfenex Expression Technology® , Diane has contributed to technical and product development for several programs including multiple clinical stage products and six therapeutic or vaccine products that are now commercial. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology.
